random thoughts & things I’m up to.

  • My New Now Page

So, I used to have a page called “Now” where every few months I’d go in and try to share what I’m up to.

But I loved the idea of having a spot on my website that’s both dedicated to posting what I’m up to while also acting almost as my own personal social media page. I even thought about trying to look into connecting my Threads account to my website, but now I might try to connect my website to Threads.

Oh, and cool part is that I connect the iOS Drafts app to my website so that I can literally just type on my phone and have it automatically update with a new post!

Gonna be able to start sharing more random thoughts on here now that it’s so easy to.

  • But Is It Feminist?

My wife just launched her first podcast called, “But Is It Feminist?”. You should give it a listen.

But Is It Feminist is a podcast the supports women’s rights and women’s wrongs! Your host (my wife),
Amanda Hernandez, sociologist by training, hater by nature, talks to her guests about
various things in pop culture and everyday life and asks the question, “but is it feminist?”

You can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or where ever you get your podcasts.

  • Internal Echolalia

Just learned the word for what I always experience in my head, Internal Echolalia. It’s when I repeat a song, word, or phrase in my head over and over. Sometimes it’s because it makes me feel good, sometimes it’s because of rejection or shame, and sometimes I don’t even know why. I can never stop it. Sometimes it only lasts a few hours. Sometimes it lasts a few days. The earliest I remember doing this was when I would walk home from school in elementary school. I always thought it was something everyone did until I learned about my neurodivergence. Lol. ????

It’s been a minute… but I’m back! And this time, with a new project I’m excited (and nervous 😅) to launch. After months of burnout and transitions, I’m finally ready to start a new chapter. I’m creating a series where I interview fellow neurodivergent creators about what actually works for them when it comes to ADHD productivity, creative routines, and everyday life systems. This series is not about hustling harder or doing things faster… it’s about real conversations with real people doing life differently — and finding strategies that actually stick. If that’s you, I’d love to connect.
